Students may wear dance attire they feel comfortable in. Dance wear should not be overly baggy unless attending a hip hop class. Please make sure all dance attire is age appropriate and fits the students body appropriately. Please wear appropriate undergarments & proper shoes. Streetwear clothing is not permitted in class

Hip Hop

Athletic, move-able clothing. We recommend wearing pants, joggers, sweats to protect the knees.

Footwear
Tennis shoes, vans, pumas, converse, or street shoes.

Note * hip hop shoes will be a required recital purchase in addition to costume deposit. An Amazon link will be sent out to the class with a shoe link the first week of classes. This may also be used as the sole practice shoe through the season.

If you are not participating in the recital Please keep a pair of shoes just for dance class that aren’t worn outside.

Items that are popular now are hoodies, harem pants, leggings, sweats, capris, t-shirts, and tank tops.

No skirts, dresses, or jeans please! No flip flops, bare feet, open toes, sandals, or crocs. Dancers with long hair, please pull it back into a ponytail.

Hair: hair must be pulled back into a proper ballet bun. Students will be taught on the first day how to execute this themselves or with a friend.
